Rebecca (Petri) Perkowski Obituary - Edder Funeral Home, Inc. : Rebecca (Petri) Perkowski, 71 of Girard passed away on Friday March 18, 2016 at St. Vincent Health Center. Rebecca was born March 23, 1944 in Fairview, a daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Exley Petri. Rebecca was a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, walking, fishing and crafts and was a devoted wife mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Shaffer. She is survived by her husband Edward J. Perkowski Sr., whom she married November 1, 1969. Also by three daughters, Belinda F. Rozzel (Douglas) of Cleveland, OH, Tonya S. Wienczkowski (Alan) of Erie, Bridget L. Perkowski of Lake City; four sons, Jack W. Petri (Brenda) of Erie, Edward J. Perkowski Jr. of Erie, Walter J. Perkowski of Albion, Joseph A. Ida Severance Obituary - Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. : Ida Elizabeth Severance, 69, of Edinboro, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Erie on January 7, 1947, the daughter of the late Albert F. and Helen S. Severance. Ida had previously worked at Maco Manufacturing and Warren Electronics. She enjoyed crafts, reading, watching old movies and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Leona Stafford, Barbara Gibson and Patricia Nesbit; and seven brothers, Donald, Bill, Kenneth, George, Clarence, Ronald and David Severance. Survivors include two sisters, Janet (Ted) Roan of Fairview, and Annabelle Watts of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements. No calling hours will be observed. Arthur Blystone Obituary - Edder Funeral Home, Inc. : Arthur Glenn Blystone, 80 of Fairview, passed away on Thursday March 17, 2016 at his home. He was born in Erie on June 14, 1935, son of the late Elton and Elizabeth (Randall) Blystone. He graduated from Girard High School and graduated from Penn State Behrend with an Associate's Degree in Business. He served in the Army, First Missile Battalion in Spokane, Wash., where he attained the rank of Sergeant E-5. Arthur worked at Marx Toys, Hayes Manufacturing, Carlson Erie, and at Eriez Magnetics for 36 years as a product structure analyst. He was also assistant manager of Eriez Magnetics Federal Credit Union. He owned and operated the Girard Beer Distributor for several years He was a member of Weis Library United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and travel. He was also active in the Y-Indians Guides. His joy was attending and supporting his sons at all sports events and all other functions. Arth
