National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day: Every day police officers and state troopers put their lives on the line to protect their communities. Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Some officers are saying the recognition is perfect timing after just this weekend, five troopers were shot at while handling a domestic dispute.
