Dog obedience and rally trial comes to Erie

Dog obedience and rally trial comes to Erie: Canines from the tri-state area and Canada take part in Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club's Obedience and Rally Trial.    Dogs showed off their agility skills and tricks.   Owners told us the dogs enjoy learning and testing their abilities.    They say training a pet is a lot of hard work -- but crucial to the dog's well being.    'He's a high energy dog so if I didn't do anything with him, he would be almost impossible to live with but he likes learning new things. He does some field work. He loves training. It's a way for us to kind of be together,' said Kathy Cunningham, a dog trainer.   Organizers say any dog breed can learn to be obedient, as long as they have the proper training.
