The State Police Want YOU To Lock Your Vehicle!: The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a large number of thefts from UNLOCKED vehicles in Elk Creek Township, Erie County. The thefts have happened over the last 5 or 6 days. State Police reminds you to LOCK your vehicle even when it is in your own driveway! These crimes of opportunity have been on the increase, especially in rural areas and almost always involves unlocked vehicles sitting in private driveways, where the owners assume they are safe.
