3rd annual Russian festival this weekend!

3rd annual Russian festival this weekend!: The Russian culture is being celebrated this weekend in the third annual troika festival.   'The festival acts as a fundraiser to help support the church's neighborhood improvement and charitable outreach projects,' the festival's website states.   The Church of the Nativity, soon to celebrate 100 years in the year community, has always been interested in helping the community.  Father Steven Pimen Simon, says 'I think... the aspect of many of the Russian community have been deeply involved in many community activities, certainly political fields and other fields in the Erie communtiy...  We have a great relationship, for example, with Saint Patrick's church.  We do a lot of things together; we work on the homeless shelter, we use our community center for the homeless shelter.'   The festival will be held at the Church of the Nativity Community Center on 109 German Street; Erie, PA.   The schedule is as follows: Friday, May 26: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm Saturday, May 27: Noon - 6:00 pm Sunday, May 28:  10a-Noon, Russian breakfast Sunday, May 28: Noon - 9:00 pm
