Gov. Wolf proposes elimination of unfilled state jobs to help balance budget: Gov. Tom Wolf announced he will not ask Pennsylvanians to pay more in sales or income taxes in his upcoming budget proposal. Instead, to balance the budget, Wolf said he will propose cuts and take steps to make the state government operate more efficiently.
