Medical marijuana growing facility plans announced for Erie

Medical marijuana growing facility plans announced for Erie: Erie Management Group met with the  public to explain  plans to open a medical marijuana growing facility on East Lake Road. This would be constructed  at the site of the former Hammermill Paper Company.    The facility would be created inside of the already existing SB3 Industrial Park office building.  This is the second medical marijuana growing facility plan to be laid out in the region.  The City of Corry held a meeting last month to announce plans for a growing facility.    Erie Management Group said this process will be  environmentally friendly, there will be no odor and there will be high security.    They said this  will also  create 40 well- paying jobs available for local residents. Only  medical marijuana oils will be produced.
