Millcreek zoning okay's Fortis move: A ruling Wednesday night by the Millcreek Township Zoning Hearing Board means a new, single campus for Fortis Institute. 'This give us a great opportunity. Were excited about it.' says Fortis Institute President Peter Correa. 'What it means for the institution is that we can begin the process of moving to a new location. We were seeking a location that would better better serve our students.' The decesion paves the way for the school to occupy up to 50,000 square feet in the former steris corporation building at 2424 West 23rd Street. They will offers technical training in a variety of careers to 400 students. The school plans to invest about $800,000 into the facility. Students could start moving into the new location early next year.
