Local fire department celebrates the return of a soldier

Local fire department celebrates the return of a soldier: A hometown hero returned after being deployed for months.    The Albion Volunteer Fire Department welcomed home Brian Abbate with a parade of fire trucks.  The volunteer fire fighter  spent the last 4 months serving in the Air force in Qatar .    His wife, Marcia, and two young daughters, Tiffany and Issabella were by his side as he caught up with familiar faces inside of the Albion Fire Department.    Abbate described his time over seas as challenging, the hardest part, being away from his family, ' It started to set in when days pass and weeks pass and it just  felt like it was never ending, it was hard.' said Abbate.    He Told JET 24 he is looking forward to relaxing and getting involved again with the fire department.
