Lord Corp. sold for over $3.6 billion to Parker Hannifin Corp. : Lord Corporation has been sold to Parker Hannifin Corporation for approximately $3.675 billion in cash.      Back in 1924, Lord Corporation was founded by Erie lawyer Hugh Lord. Now 95 years later, the company has been purchased by another company that had a similar start.
